      2007 New Zealand Open Details

SCHEDULE LOGISTICS
Friday, 30 March
Players who arrive at least a day early are invited to join us for a trip to famed Golden Bay (one hour drive north). There you will have the possibility to laze on the beach, relax at the Dangerous Kitchen, or kayak to the nearby Tata Islands seal colony. We are also organising a giant Beach Tantrix game using large foam tiles.

Saturday, 31 March
The first round of NZ Open Tournament will begin at 8.30 am. For those interested, a meal will be organised at one of the beachfront restaurants.

Sunday, 1 April
Day 2 of the tournament will begin at 9am. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 5pm. Mike is planning on finishing second.

Accommodation
There are plenty of beds and mattresses on site. If you prefer to arrange your own accommodation check out the nearby Mapua Holiday Chalets. Or email us if you'd like help finding something else to your taste.

Airport Pickup
The Nelson airport is 25 minute drive. It will be not problem to arrange pick ups for players. Just email us your flight details in due course.

If you are driving yourself, the address is 600 Old Coach Road, Mahana, Nelson. Directions: Take SH 60 from Richmond towards Motueka, turn left onto Seaton Valley Road just before the Mapua turnoff, then right onto Old Coach Road.

Entry Fee
There is no entry fee, however players will be asked to share food costs.
