2007 New Zealand Table OpenThe NZ Open is being held at Tantrix HQ near Mapua, Nelson, from March 30th to April 1st. This is a beautiful part of New Zealand, with the highest sunshine hours in the country, and very reliable weather in autumn. Players from all countries are invited and are welcome to use the Tantrix HQ as a base from which to explore the region.
Who's coming, you ask. Well, the normal Nelson crew for starters. Jungle is in superb form, and the Takaka lads have been training hard since the last NZ Open two years ago. Zorpolotta, the reigning New Zealand Champion will be there of course. He has been getting good results this season, winning the Blitz tournament in August, although he was a bit unlucky in the WTC. We also heard a rumour that Matt Peek is coming, the current NZ Online Champion, not to mention the top ranked player in the world. Stay tuned.
